The Buddy Fund was created in 2004 by a group of New York entrepreneurs with the intent of helping the cause of animals in diverse and interesting ways. Our mission is to fund worthwhile projects that will lead to a betterment in the everyday treatment of companion animals, thus impacting the daily lives of those that can least help themselves. While focusing on the United States, the Fund’s mission can be extended beyond our borders. We are a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 tax status. The Fund’s Board of Directors will pay keen attention to the viability of all projects, the source of the RFP as well as it’s long term implications. Projects highlighting public awareness and education will also be considered, although under differing sets of criteria. |
